Redstaff
As I've finished "Missouri Armada" with a bit of time to spare before the Lancaster STGB I thought of killing the time with the egg plane I bought on a whim a few years ago Should be a nice quick build and a bit of fun at the end If I don't do it now it will probably sit there untouched for more years Ian 8

Biggles87
You havn’t left yourself much time, you’ll have to be eggstremely quick. ( If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em, is what I say ) John 1
Redstaff
All these yolks coming out of the woodwork are quite eggstruciating, however the yolk will be on them when I finish it Hope it turns out ok, otherwise I'll end up with egg on my face if I don't crack on when I get home Ian 🤣 1

Redstaff
Quick progress report Major parts glued together, superb fit of parts as I think it should be a snap together kit All in primer now, so more pics tomorrow hopefully once it's all dry Quick pic of main assembly with pilot testing for size

Redstaff
Haven't had a lot of free time this week, but had an afternoon to myself while wifey went shopping with her friends, so I cracked on a bit Managed to get the pilot, let's call him "Eggbert Nobacon", painted and his eye decals fitted and glued in (Moved him back in the cockpit a little as he seemed too far forward) Fitted decal to the dash and got the canopy masked for hopefully painting tomorrow Ian

gingerbob
Looks a bit like an FJ-1 in that last shot!
Redstaff
Had another productive day and finally the bird has hatched and you can see it in it's shiny new coat It was a bit of fun at the end of the STGB and if you've never built one of the Hasegawa Egg planes I'd recommend it as it took me right back Had to do a bit of touching up as the deep panel lines really wick the paint away Quick pic here and I'll add some more in the gallery in a bit Ian
Johnson
When I look at it I think that there must be something wrong with my eyes... . Or maybe the PC screen... But it is cute, and very nicely done!
