    As aircraft get on in years , bits are robbed from other jets and may not be in the same colours. Later Tornados were a right mix and match of panels. The Yeovilton jet has had another wing and they haven't painted it to match

    The first shot of The Reds tails is a belter, cracking shot .

    Has to be the hazy Phantom back end. Can feel the heat and smell the fumes . Cracking shot

    Cottesmore in Rutland was a Vulcan base in the 60s and 70s , very close to Leicester

    That looks great . Lizard scheme is the only way to go in my eyes. Used to see these in pairs flying over the school sports field in the 80s. Id always wave and the other kids thought I was nuts

    Was on the m25 a fews years back and a Quantas or might of been Emirates one came over me from Heathrow, boy are they big. Im mean BIG

    I was like you 10 years or so ago, didnt like the idea of all that cleaning. Saw a cheap airbrush /compressor on ebay and went for it. Best thing i ever did. I use enamels and standard thinners to thin. As for cleaning ive a glass salsa jar filled with thinners i dunk the airbrush in and press the trigger . Easy

    The f2a s in Germany had some kind of protective gunk on the legs and bays that gave a golden colour

    This is possibly the finest model of any aircraft ive ever seen. My eyes have literally just poped out .
