  2. Thanks, well spotted. The Kitsworld decals were awful and fell apart so they were left off. They were so thin and transparent I had to double layer the main serial letters, and they still look grey!
  3. Thanks, it's a great little kit. It's the third one I've built and they all went together beautifully. It does include the Vokes filter, open and closed canopy options, clipped wings, De Havilland and Rotol props and both exhaust stack options. There is some speculation about the accuracy of the shape of the spinners but Barracuda Studios do a corrected resin replacement set, which includes both the Rotol and the De Havilland variants.
  4. Thanks, the minimal weathering was deliberate as Prosser-Hanks liked to keep his airframe polished to increase its speed and is a reason why it has no vokes filter too as he considered it was better to minimise the drag, which I'm sure his ground crew appreciated! He also had his initials as the serial letters on his personal aircraft too.

  9. I'm not sure, there is only one propeller option supplied in the kit, which looks the same as what's provided in the ICM kit. It was no problem to build but there may be inaccuracies. However its pretty much the only option available in 1/48 and had the scheme included I wanted to do. I think it builds into a convincing looking Falco.

  13. I agree Alain, they are in the process of building Sea Gladiator Mk. I N5519, which they think will take the two man team 10 years to complete so maybe a Mk.V Trop will be next!
