    Airfix produced some small hard backed books in early 70s ,and one was on vehicle conversions and my mind went straight back to my attempts back then ,non were as good as your work but thanks for helping me remember those times .Look forward to your next piece of work.

    I purchased the kit when it was released in the 1960s .I might have a go at it again ,will the aid of some strong magnifier specs ,as eyes not as good these days.Very nice rendition well done.

    I was a teenager when matchbox brought these kits onto the market and i built nearly all of them.The base was a great bonus,as you had a ready disply stand ,your example is to be commended well done.

    Try not to achieve the look of models you see done by people who have been modelling for years.lam in my 60s started in mid 1960s ,i still brush paint all my work and always get compliments on how good they are.Take each model as a learning curve, and read good books on the subject and listen to people's advice on any problems you have ,you will soon get the bug ,and will have many happy years of modelling. The model you have done is fine so keep at it and most of all enjoy it.
