Matthew1974
Excellent rendition! Maybe you have mentioned it before, but what paints and technique(s) do you use to achieve such a smooth finish with a brush?

Watto
Fantastic scene Alain, I really must set to and have a go at trying to achieve the same level of standard that you've set. Needless to say, the Spit is top notch. 🏆 That scoop intake really makes the Malta destined planes look distinctive. Congratulations on a smashing build and dio. This one was paint with some Humbroll color. 90, sky for the undersurface, 224 for the slate grey and 27 for dark sea grey. 2 or 3 drops of tinner only and well mixt (see picture below.) I always paint following the air flow of a plane. My brushes are Fehhaar-mix Nr 3 from Springle (Ref 1233) one for the clear (90), one for the 224 (entire top surface) and a Nr 3 Pure sable kolinsky 3338 JR Product for the camouflage (27) Alain 1
georgeusa
Your Malta fleet just keeps growing. Another fine addition to your squadron. I am always in awe of the finish you get with your brush painting. Thanks for showing what you used and how you apply the paints.
