Alpha Delta 210
I spent a very enjoyable day at RAF Fairford today. It was quite blustery with occasional showers, but busy from 0900 when the first Buff landed. Here is my (incomplete) record of the day, in chronological order. I hope you enjoy them! Thanks for looking! 43

Paul J
Great photos. Watched a couple of videos on you tube earlier. Some interesting items. I'm going Saturday but it looks like I and the wife will have to wrap up for winter!

I have really enjoyed the last 2 days, but the forecast for tomorrow is really not looking promising. 🙄 I hope that you and your wife still enjoy the day.
Paul J
I recall a few years ago it rained so much that it got called off and tickets were refunded. Hoping its not the case this time. I had gone to Duxford which was held on the same weekend.

I think the weather over the show weekend was actually reasonable!🙄 Fingers are firmly crossed for tomorrow and the weekend....
Alpha Delta 210
Another busy day at RAF Fairford with a mix of arriving aircraft and validation displays. The weather was changeable again, with a couple of light showers. I really hope that the forecast for Friday and Saturday is wrong! Here are a selection of my favourite images from today. Thanks for looking. 18

jhutchi
Great pictures. I like the Jordanian Hercules. Also, what is the SAAB aircraft and what has it got bolted to the fuselage? 1

Not the latest Bond movie, but the Erieye AEW radar attached to a Bombardier Global 6000 business jet. And it seems to need a lot of filler round some of the wing-to-fuselage joints, doesn't it?

Thanks for clearing that up, pigsty! I would have needed to do some research! I have just finished editing some shots from today's very soggy show. At one point, I thought that all displays would be cancelled, but with great credit to all involved, we were treated to some very rare and some more familiar displays. I will post some shots tomorrow.
