6 June 1944…in 1/72

Recommended Posts

One of the few Luftwaffe aircraft present on the Normandy beaches: Joseph 'Pips' Priller's FW190 A-8, Kommodore of JG 26. Priller and his wingman (Sergeant Wodarczyk) performed a single pass strafing a low altitude allied forces present on Sword Beach.

In remembrance of D-Day and all those who, on both sides, lost their lives.

Great finish! From this perspective it looks definitely larger than 1/72. If only more modellers would take pictures with a view from the ground like you.
