Graham T Posted April 1, 2023 Share Posted April 1, 2023 My latest completion, a Mk.6 built as XR770, the CO's machine of 5 squadron. I added a True Details cockpit & a CMK undercarriage set (LOTS of scraping of the inner surfaces of top & bottom wings!), a Flightpath metal IFR probe (only because I lost the kit part!) & drilled out the cannon ports. Other than that OOB (apart from the specific decals of course). Some research needed regarding the colours but according to a profile on the "Thunder & Lightnings" website she was at this time MSG upper fuselage, wings & tailplanes with Barley (Camouflage) Grey elsewhere so that's what I went with. I've no idea whether she ever flew with the over-wing tanks but as I didn't already have a Lightning on the shelf so equipped, I added them!
