Bitzer
Well done. Just one thing. The US Navy never let their ships get that rusty.
ArnoldAmbrose
Gidday Tuan, you've done another outstanding model. She looks like she could do with some R&R. Regards, Jeff.
Adm Lord De Univers
Amazing Tuan, one of the best ship models I've ever seen! I too shared Bitzer's view on upkeep so did a search for 'usn rusty ship', you should see what the USS Stout looked like last year (although by the looks if it you have as this nails the wear and tear she displayed). Thank you for the compliment ! Dear Bitzer and Adm Lord De Univers. I really appreciate it. As for the effects of the ship, and i must emphasise that i'm not denying your idea, but it's just that in some situations, American battleships can go on for a long period on the sea so such streak marks can still happen (Like the picture below). Of course however, once it reaches the port the maintenance crew would immediately get to work, thus the effect will be less visible. So in my perspective i'm trying to depict it as its worse condition in order to bring out the model Edited April 23, 2021 by TuanNA
Dancona
Beautiful piece of work Tuan, an exceptional piece of modelling, in my opinion the weathering is spot on, very, very clever !! Cheers David

Back in the day maybe, but take a look at this pic taken as USS San Antonio entered Devonport a few days ago and this after just 18 days after leaving Norfolk , pic by saturn_ecplise on Reddit:
