Hi. Build number 4 on the journey. Had a lovely old time putting this together. Really enjoyable. Have to thank AndyRM101’s Snowspeeder build for inspiration & help along the way. His build was invaluable. Many thanks Andy. Had a few fit issues with the engine pods around the rear cockpit, but that was my fault by glueing in the front gun pods before i had everything painted & sorted. My dad bought me a 1/32 Hawker Hunter, which is huge, so i built the speeder while contemplating what i was going to do with that, apart from build it. Here’s some pics of the speeder in its natural environment … of cardboard.

Cheers.

Another nice build :) I reckon you need to treat yourself to a better backdrop, as the cardboard doesn't do your work justice ;)

Its my magic cardboard box. Pop the sprue's in, leave it for a bit, open it up, and voila !

I think you're right though mike Thanks for the nice comment.

That's a fantastic looking Speeder. There's some really nice weathering there.

I'm glad my build was useful.

Great job! :D

Can I ask what you used for the final colour of the fuselage? I have one of these in waiting and I'm contemplating what shade to choose for it.

Thanks!

If my memory serves me well it was like approx 60 percent off white, 20 deck tan, 20 London grey. All vallejo. Go easy on the grey tho ;^)

Hehe, I will. I'll be sure to test it all first ;)

Thanks, mate :)

great weathering especially the panel lines and chipping. Nice to see a "grey striped" speeder!

Thanks jake, tried me best ! Was a fun build giving it that knackered look
