  1. Two things. Don't over texture as Sherman castings were quite smooth. The US was a lot better at casting than the Soviets were. And are you going to add these nuts and bolt heads? John.
  2. Many thanks to all of you for the encouraging words. John.
  3. Very neat, with just the right amount of weathering. John.
  4. The unusuals are coming thick and fast this morning. Very well done, and there's nothing wrong with the figure. John.
  5. For only your second effort, you've done a great job. This is another one that you don't seen very many of, even though Italeri do a 1/35th scale version. John.
  6. Many thanks Ian for your comments. As far as I can tell looking at the photo of this particular tank, it's mounting a gun rather than a dummy. John.

  15. It's looking very good Milan. The top coat will really bring it to life. John.
  16. Nice work with the etch Cesar. It's really adding to the build. John.
  17. Wow seems to be the appropriate word here, and it's easy to see why. Fantastic detail has been added to both the truck and it's load. Great work. John.
  18. Another one back from the dead (Village Photos). This is Academy's M3 built as a New Zealand Stuart l of A Troop, 25 Battery, 4th Field Regiment near Medenine, Tunisia, 1943. I made quite a few modifications to it which are as follows. The Horse Shoe turret was from MB Modelbau (the kit has the hexagonal turret), suspension and tracks are courtesy of AFV Club (more accurate), and the guns are from RB Models. There are also a lot of scratch built items such as the sand shields and the large stowage box over the engine deck. The stowage is a mixture from Resicast, Value Gear and Accurate Armour. I based the scene on a photo of this tank with the crew posing in front for the camera. The figures came from various sources and have had their arms and legs repositioned and the heads replaced with Hornet items. I hope that you like it and thanks for looking and any comments. John.
