  1. Hoorah, that man! Great job as always, and what a brilliant collection πŸ‘πŸ‘ mike
  2. Fantastic ! You've really captured the atmosphere of the original in model form. Thanks for posting. mike
  3. Thanks for your kind words Fin. Thanks Harry. The markings came from the Xtradecal sheet X72175. LOads of markings to choose from. Thanks Keith. It was the starboard rocket pod that did the damage (and a few tonnes of stupidity on my part)😠 mike
  4. I love exotic schemes and your build has certainly ticked that box Flawless finish πŸ‘πŸ‘ Thanks for posting. mike
  5. Mixed feelings about your build Calum, but only because : I have one in the stash I can't see myself ever building it to the same standard Astonishing work - thanks for posting your inspirational build. mike
  6. Great collection John. πŸ‘πŸ‘ Excellent group photo πŸ‘πŸ‘ Straying off the straight and narrow with regards to civilian builds - we've all done it 😁 As always, thanks for posting. mike
  7. Back in 2014, Borgao posted his build of a Portuguese Gina based in Mozambique. The topic struck a chord with me as my first "foreign" holiday was spent in Beira, just across the border. It was the late 60's, and while my folks enjoyed Manica beer and Peri-peri prawns, my brother and I got to enjoy ice-cream cones and Portuguese hospitality. In homage to Borgao's build, I've had a go at building the Meng G.91 Gina too: Finished off with Hataka paints and markings from Xtradecal. I have to admit that I was a bit disappointed with the kit, but that may have been the ham-fisted way that I built it. I have another Gina in the stash, but I suspect that its build may have slipped down the priority list πŸ€” To Borgao, all I can say is that "imitation is the sincerest from of flattery that mediocrity can pay to greatness" 😁 - Obrigado and many thanks for the inspiration. Comments and criticism welcome. mike
  8. Great work all round - build, paint scheme and diorama Congratulations on completing the build and thanks for posting πŸ‘πŸ‘ mike
  9. Spectacular build, especially in 1/72 Thanks for posting. mike
  10. Great build and exotic scheme. Ticks all the boxes for me πŸ‘πŸ‘ Thanks for posting. mike
  11. Bravo! I have one in the stash, but I'm too chicken to build it You've done a cracking job. . Thanks for posting mike
  12. Many thanks for using TWO "Get out of jail free" cards. The eye-candy is greatly appreciated. 😁 mike
  13. Those have turned out really well, so many thanks for getting them over the finishing line. πŸ‘πŸ‘ Looking forward to seeing the next one off the production line. mike
  14. Great job once again, John πŸ‘πŸ‘ Loving the exotic scheme (with cheatline) too ! I'm afraid that I haven't succumbed to the Roden 707 yet as I still have four of their 720's to build....... mike
