Middle East Colors Reference - second attempt

What a treasure trove of information, thanks to all. Cheers Dennis -
Great build and finish, considering the scale of the Korean war it is a tad neglected so its nice to see a superb build like this. Cheers Dennis

Glad your back at the bench and your back is OK. Back problems are horrible, in the 80's I had lots of back problems so I bought a book called "Callanetics for your back" which has a section of exercises which I still do today and they do work for me. Anyway, the build is really progressing nicely and my mind is firming up on the idea of building a Kōtare kit next in spite of dragging 2 of the new Revell Hurricanes out of the stash. Cheers Dennis

I have kits dating back to the 1990's and enjoy looking at them, some of them have been upgraded though, with better details, paint and decals. This is especially true for the earlier ones were I spent a lot of time on cockpit details but less time on finishing as I did not have an airbrush then. The ones that I thought were not redeemable were scrapped for spares. Cheers Dennis

I can see it thundering along at high speed and low level, great job. Cheers Dennis

Superb modelling that looks great, and built despite all the problems encountered, a big well done from me. Cheers Dennis

Nice one Giampiero, I forgot about that book, and I bought it specially when I built my model. Cheers Dennis -

Just had a look through my references from when I the PCM 1.32 kit but could not find any photos at all. However there are some people on Britmodeller who are very knowledgeable about all things Italian. If this does not work ask the guys over on Stormo Magazine, they can usually help out. https://stormomagazine.com/phpbb2/index.php? Cheers Dennis -
Amazing what you can find, nice result. Cheers Dennis

You definately have my sympathy Mike, hand problems are really limiting (and painful), over the past couple of years I have had new thumb joints on both hands, and trigger finger release on the two middle fingers of my left hand. I am scheduled for another op on my right hand/wrist to release the thumb tendons. Not nice. Cheers Dennis

Nice review Mike, and great looking kit, it's nice to see early WW2 RAF subjects being produced, it has even tempted me to drop down a scale and buy them. Cheers Dennis

Looks like a really nice museum, thank you for taking the time to post the pictures. Cheers Dennis

Now that really embodies the early war years for the Spitfire, nice one. Cheers Dennis

Certainly a head turner in that colour scheme and beautifully build to boot. Cheers Dennis
