  1. I used Blue-tac - and the white version - over enamel paints without any problems but have switched to using this masking putty Modelcraft Masking putty which I have found to be even better and it is re-useable
  2. The Revell range has clear blue in both the enamel and acrylic paints
  3. At the moment it is not imported to the UK by the official importer - The Hobby Company - and there is no sign of it on their website https://www.hobbyco.net/
  4. There were trials of the grey colour schemes in about 1983/84. There were 2 Hawks in a darker colour scheme with uppersurfaces in Dark Sea Grey and undersurfaces in Medium Sea Grey. XX282 of 63 Squadron was known to be one of them - there are markings for that aircraft on Modeldecal sheet 80.

  6. The Dutch spotters group Scramble might be of use. Their database of Israeli aircraft contains a lot of c/n and FMS serial date https://www.scramble.nl/database/military/il e.g. Israeli F-4E serial number 101 was c/n 3492 and USAF FMS serial 68-0396
  7. it is interesting that Jadlam describe it as a B-52D as according to Revell's own website the Platinum edition kit is the NB-52 with X-15 Revell 03793 NB-52 & X-15
  8. Revell Hawk kit 04622 is the Italeri kit re-boxed and dates back to the mid-1990s. The kit Giorgio used and shown in the images above is Revell's own mould, kit no. 04921 and dates from about 2015.
  9. Oh knowing the answer but not being able to tell anyone - it's torture. The trade was told a few days ago so we can place our orders. It is due to arrive with a few weeks
  10. The link works for me, giving a list of the F/A-18A+ used by Ala 46. I checked it at the time of posting by copying the link in a new window to make sure it worked. You can go to the Scramble Spanish aircraft database with this link https://www.scramble.nl/database/military/es and use F/A-18A+ as the search criteria in the type search box to get the list of Ala 46 aircraft
  11. According to Scramble, Ala 46 at Gando uses the ex-USN F/A-18A+ aircraft. This is their list of the Ala 46 aircraft with their ex-USN serials Ala 46 aircraft
  12. Hannants have a few sets in stock. UK price is £3.60
  13. The Mr Hobby aqueous colurs are still in production and routinely available in the UK. Jadlam models H324 Wonderland Models H324
  14. Checked the book again and it seems to be a typing error. Colour should be 14087.
  15. According to this book US Army Aviation Color Schemes & Markings 1942 to Present by Lennart Lundh the colour was 14187
