Phartycr0c
Waaaayyy too late for the end of the group build and im not quite finished with the build yet but im calling the aircraft done as the rest are surrounding details and eventually the lightning will be joined by another 70s icon. More later. The kit body was extended by the requisite 5mm and the main undercarriage shortened to give the plane a better "sit" . I know the area around the exhausts are wrong but I just couldn't bring myself to cut it about. The kit itself was joined by the sets from Eduard and Flightpath for the fod covers and ladder and i had a play with Humbrol enamels for the paint scheme. anyhow on with the photos. Build thread here http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/234968955-trumpeter-132-f3/ Photography not great.

Alan P
Can't believe this hasn't got more attention, it's a Trumpeter Lightning that really looks like one. Great detail work as well. Al

Ray S
Fabulous work. I watched it unfold on the GB, and had to look between fingers at some points especially when you started chopping it up, but it was SO worthwhile. It is great work on the paint scheme too. Big thumbs up from me. All the best, Ray
Cookenbacher
I enjoyed watching this in the STGB too, so glad to see it finished. Your hard work in modifying the fuselage really paid off. That is a build for the ages.
