longshanks Posted January 6, 2015 Posted January 6, 2015 Nice one mate, just need to get the other two looking as good ;-) Kev
Dads203 Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Thank you chaps, I should be able to crack on tonight after work on the commander and driver figures, I'm going to repaint the commanders torso in Tamiya olive green first. Stay tuned :-) Dan 1
foxy Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Wonder full stuff . These figures are coming on a treat. foxy
Dads203 Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Loaders mic and lead fitted, very fiddly indeed. Cheers Dan 1
Dads203 Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Some slightly better pictures. And onto the driver, Klear added to the top of his pocket ready for the nametag. And the decals for the nametag, these will be fun ! Cheers Dan
Dads203 Posted January 7, 2015 Author Posted January 7, 2015 Drivers nametag done...phew ! No prizes for guessing the name, but I'm now a Chiefy driver! Dan 3
noeyedears Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 fiddly but well worth it as they look great.
Wogga Posted January 7, 2015 Posted January 7, 2015 Top job Dan it does look good and you have to have been there to pick up the detail that some may miss. Learning from the experienced modellers is why I am here.
longshanks Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 He's good Dan but not as good looking as you LOL Kev
Dads203 Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 Thank you chaps, I should get the commander figure done tonight with a bit of luck And then onto the OMD 80 oil drums and the last few bits on the tank its self. Still Thinking about the dio base at the moment and how best to display the final build. Regards Dan
foxy Posted January 8, 2015 Posted January 8, 2015 That's a nice touch having yourself in the picture. Great work as usual Dan. Frank
Dads203 Posted January 8, 2015 Author Posted January 8, 2015 Loader gets a name tag too. Decal solution is still wet so hence the glossy finish. Cheers Dan 3

Dads203 Posted January 10, 2015 Author Posted January 10, 2015 Onto the Commander figure, a quick respray to Tamiya XF-58 Olive green an we are away. Driver figure with mic and lead added, need to paint up his googles. cheers Dan 1
C&WR Posted January 10, 2015 Posted January 10, 2015 Dan I really hate to say this, but is your Commander a Corporal? It's just that the panzer's callsign is 31, which in a square means the Troop Sergeant's wagon in 3rd Troop, B Squadron. We did have Staff Sergeant Troop Leaders (who would have been in X0 where X is Troop number) but X1 would still be Tp Sgt & X2 Tp Cpl. I cant remember a Corporal commanding X1, although suppose it could have been possible... 2
