Dads203
Thanks Roger, Black cam base coat is now done, a bit more work fading the green and black and these are done for now, then onto the mud. The green looks a little bright but is just my camera, it matches the tank well. More to follow Dan

Dads203
Cheers Kev, Test fitting of the RHS skirts, Mmmh I think I need to reduce the amount of black on the first two panels, too me it doesn't look right, more green required I think. Too big an area of black ! Once I'm happy then I'll apply the filters to further blend it to the tank. excuse the blue tac holding the skirts on. And the LHS skirts. Enjoy Dan
Dads203
And the left LHS, this looks better :-) Cheers Dan
longshanks
Cor your like a bus . . . . Agree with you that there is toooo much black. Are you going to leave the panel off on the LHS to show the muck build up? Second thoughts perhaps your more like a Ferrari 0-multipule posts ;-) Kev

Dads203
Thanks again Roger, I've sorted the side skirt repaint, again held on with bluetac looks a bit better, paint is still wet at the mo but once dry I'll break out the filters and start weathering it up. Dads203
Thank you chaps, I'm away on business for a couple of weeks so progress is going to a but slow I'm afraid, currently sitting in a hotel In North Yorkshire, if I get a chance I'll try and get some work done of the chiefy this weekend. Dads203
My two weeks working away is now over, Telford is out of the way for another year So no excuse not to carry on with the build. Mud and more mud, used the Mig Mud and it's rather good. This track needs a link dropping, way too much sag and would cause a track to be thrown if it was real. Ask me how I know !! Cheers Dan

Hamden
Really great work, this is IMHO one of the best Chieftain models I've ever seen.
