Just out of curiosity @Ralph21075why did you need to "work up the courage" to do a helicopter? The model shows you had nothing whatsoever to be scared of

Hawker Hunter F.9 Italeri (Academy) 1/48
MikeC replied to viper-dc's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Very nice rendition of an FGA9. -
Actually not necessary: with the 1:1 size it's a simple calculation to find the size for a model in whichever scale you choose. Added bonus: others working in different scales can benefit from this discussion. Having said that, I'm afraid I can't add to what @Troy Smith has said.

My overall opinion of Kits World decals is that they were very thin and the artwork - WW2 US nose art - is generally good. However, the info given can be suspect.

Bucker Jungmann Bu-131 in the Royal Hellenic Air Force?
MikeC replied to 28ZComeback's topic in Aircraft Interwar
If the Wiki article called it a Junkers Bu 131, it's immediately supect I'm afraid, as the aeroplane was designed and built by Bucker. Not sure about Greek use, but Hungary certainly had them, I believe, so as you say it may have been fliwn out of Hungary. -
Very nicely done Indeed, although the wider nose gives it a certain charm of its own. And I was told many years ago (by someone relatively senior on the Buccaneer OCU) that performance was improved slightly as the area rule effect was better. Thanks for sharing with us.

The Tomcat as a museum piece and the thought of a preserved airworthy one makes me feel very old, as I remember when they were the latest shiny new hi-tech thing. I don’t suppose I'm alone...

On the other hand, the upper fuselage could be white, or at least would have been white originally. Time and weathering may have dulled it down somewhat. Ultimately, go with what you feel looks right.

Great little show (and for avoidance of doubt I don't mean "little" in a disparaging way) with a very friendly atmosphere. Many thanks to the organisers.

Thanks @TonyW I'm planning to go, see you there hopefully.

Is there a list of exhibitors and traders available?

Should be a simple job to mask and paint them, both markings you mention being rectangular with no complex shapes.
