  1. Seen this yesterday, MJR are doing it for £26 posted which is the cheapest I've seen it available for pre-order.
  2. Glad to see the boats reissued, prices were plain ridiculous so there will be howls coming from the resellers as their blue chip retirement stock is back to being worth standard amounts. Puma is good to see but there's a huge amount of work if you want to make anything resembling those in service now/recently. Not a bad effort from Airfix truth be told, there's plenty of the Car modelling fraternity that'll be able to stop sweating that their Victor/Maxi is still worth over £150 😂😂
  3. A repop of the Scimitar would sell like hot cakes!
  4. Hi mate, good luck with your Takom kit they can be had for around £40-£45 now. I'd definitely go with the Humbrol 65 for the pack, it's definitely the darker of the two and certainly closer to what I remember from my 439 at 3 DSR.

    Airfix 2025

Speaking to an Airfix bloke earlier in the year I'm expecting the Scimitar to be the big announcement. Absolutely no idea on scale but I'd imagine it's going to be 1/72nd. Not too sure where this fixation with 1/24th is coming from?
  6. I'd gamble it was 1/72nd as there is already the Kittyhawk kits in 1/48th but the best in the smaller scale is the Hasegawa kit which is old!
  7. Grumman Duck and Widgeon would be a good addition I reckon.
  8. There's usually something that pops up from the vintage classics line, hopefully another one of the cars that people are asking ridiculous amounts of money or one of the 1/72nd scale boats that are in the same bracket, maybe even something more recent like the TSR.2?
  9. 1/32nd RAF Phantom, massively overdue and neglected subject. You heard it here first.
  10. You can hear the screams of anguish from here of the collectors now their £50-£60+ rare kits have taken a massive drop in value! Bring on the SRN4, that'll really cause despair. Just as an aside MJR Models are selling them for £9.90 plus post!
  11. Probably around £2000-£3000 if the Xtrakit going rate is anything to go by! 😂😂😂😂
  12. If you can find one below the £80-£90 people seem to think they are worth?
  13. Sounds brilliant and nowhere near the £90+ the Xtrakit is fetching second hand.
  14. This will sell like hot cakes and put an end to the absolutely ridiculous prices scalpers have been charging for the Xtrakit models.
  15. This will no doubt prove extremely popular.
