  1. Late to the party again, I have just completed an Airfix U-2C in the Sabre scheme and used the paint references from Microscale sheet 72-461 which has the light grey as FS 36495 (Xtracolor X139) and the darker grey as FS 36375 (Xtracolor X136) and to my eyes the colours are a good match for the colour photos of Sabre Scheme U-2Cs on the internet and various U-2 publications. Photo below by Chris St Clair. Regards, Haydn.
  2. Don't know if these will help you but back in 2002 I made a couple of saw cuts in each wing of slightly different widths and inserted strips of plastic card until I got what I thought was a reasonable 'bend' in the wing. This did mean I had to replace the vortex generators though !
  3. Have a look at the Tech Order here... https://usaf-sig.org/index.php/references/reference/111-color-information/481-technical-order-t-o-36-1-3-painting-marking-lighting-requirements-for-usaf-vehicles
  4. You might find something useful here.... https://www.fantasyprintshop.co.uk/decals/aircraft-decals/wolfpak-decals/1-72-scale-wollfpack-decals/ Regards, Haydn.
  5. Jochen and Desert Falcon - thank you so much with your help ! Exactly what I was looking for - thank you. Regards, Haydn.
  6. 3 questions for the modern German army vehicle experts: Can anybody recommend any enamel paint matches for the green/tan/black camo scheme . Would the cab interior of a MAN 8 wheel Roland SAM be the green from the camo scheme with black/dark grey dashboard ? Is there a good reference for the camo pattern ? I've really come up short searching for MAN/Roland info. Regards, Haydn.
  7. If you are working with the Hasegawa 1/72 kits there are some fantastic aftermarket parts for weapons bays and intakes from Hobartville Hobbies.... https://www.hobartvillehobbies.com.au/?shipping=true#3
  8. I have this 1/72 kit in the stash. Previously available through Hannants it is out of production but there may be some floating around the auction sites ?... .
  9. Hi Chris, Aircraft In Miniature is planning on releasing 1/72, 1/48 and 1/32 versions of the Dragon loader. Development work has centered on the 1/72 version and we are almost 'there' with that but I cannot give you a release date I'm afraid - best bet is to keep an eye on the Hannants news letter. These are some pictures of the 1/72 version (the model includes around a dozen ammo cans that can be posed closed or open with an optional 'belt' of cannon rounds): Regards, Haydn.
  10. Hi Steve - unfortunately the printer we used became unable to produce our small scale orders - given the quality we'd like to hope it could restart some day. Email me at [email protected] and I'll find out out if we have any remaining stock of the items you want. Cheers, Haydn.
  11. Cpoud117 - I'm so sorry for not responding (and Julien did wave a big flag at me ! ) Our ebay shop man is out of the country at the moment but will be back next week (Monday 2nd January onwards) Regards, Haydn.
