hadzi
Superbe! I like DOBI planes, have DOBI-III from OMEGA but the wing is garbage, not to use. Different profiles and shape on both sides.

RichieW
Beautiful model, as a scratch building newbie I am hugely impressed! It's hard to tell from the photos but did you paint onto the balsa after filling the grain? If so I would love to know how you prepared the surface for paint. I am struggling with doing this. Thanks Richie
roginoz
We seriously NEED to see more photos, close up, of these amazing builds. Museum pieces, I reckon !! Rog
Audra
Balsa and modeling clay were used only for making the preliminary model. Later, all parts were cast from resin in silicone molds. Attached a few more photos from the assembling DOBI-II 3
