Jovac
The old Matchbox model, which like most of their models, represents relaxation for work. Although my box is from 1979, the decals were top notch. I am satisfied with what has been achieved, the colors are Model Master and Humbrol. I also plan on a Buffalo with Finnish markings, just a Hasegawa model. Here's the picture.
Truro Model Builder
Nice work. That kit is classic Matchbox. A delight to put together, very generous in its enjoyment factor -and a bit of teeth clenching concentration while making a good job of that canopy framing.
2996 Victor
Hi, What a fantastic job you've made of this classic kit! Superb! I had one of these as a child, and made a bit of a hash of it. Recently, I managed to pick one up cheaply for a nostalgia build. Your model is inspiring me to open it's mangled box and start building! Thanks for sharing and for the inspiration. Kind regards, Mark
Lord Riot
That’s turned out lovely. I remember having one of these as a kid too!
Spitfire31
Many Matchbox kit look kind of dorky when you shake the parts out of the box, what with those colours and all… But when built up by someone who knows what he (or she…) is doing – they come out looking really good and surprisingly (?) accurate. Excellent work with this cute li'l Buffalo! Kind regards, Joachim 1
Sumosan
Lovely. Brings back happy memories of spending my pocket money on one as a kid. But imagine being asked to go up against a Zero in one of those!
Meatbox8
Very nice. A great job on an old kit although I think the Buffalo was one of Matchbox's better kits.
112 Squadron
Those Matchbox old kits really deserve to be build! This is a well build example of one of the classic planes of their range.
Jackson Duvalier
I know it's not an egg plane, but it really looks like an egg plane. For a 40 year-old pocket money kit it really looks like a Buffalo once built up. My hat's off, Jovac.
Eric Mc
Lovely job. I always liked the Buffalo, despite all its shortcomings.
