Homebee
First Profipack boxing for March 2015.Source: http://www.eduard.com/store/out/media/InfoEduard/archive/2015/info-eduard-2015-01EN.pdf (...)With respect to kits in 1/48th scale, (...), this year will see a continuation of the Spitfire line, with the Spitfire Mk.VIII and Mk.XVI. The first ProfiPACK kit will see the light of day in March. The kit will be significantly modified and will not be a simple conversion of the Mk.IX. The kit contains a new fuselage and wings along with a list of new fine details, such as all-new landing gear.A feature of the kit will be the inclusion of the extended wing tips for high altitude performance. This will be followed by a Limited Edition kit covering the Spitfire Mk.VIII in Australian service and will include a publication dedicated to the kit theme. V.P. Hornet133
Looks nice. Bit disappointed about the rg y scheme again it seems every mk viii has been produced with that scheme I assume you mean RG-V (not RG-Y). Ah yes...but how many times has it been done accurately !! With the correct RAAF Sky Blue codes instead of White that it has always been illustrated with etc.
Alan Kelley
I am just finishing off ZP-Y in the later Grey Nurse scheme. It is a common scheme but is probably the best known MkVIII out there.
