  1. Bob at his best yet again. Please keep them coming.
  2. Well as a man of your talents could you not find a figure with a helmet cut it off and make some casts from it. I am sure you could hollow them out if needed. This sort of idea or just cut the helmets of a pack or two of these. https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=1/72+british+soldier+figures&rlz=1C1GIGM_enGB640GB640&espv=2&biw=1264&bih=901&tbm=isch&tbo=u&source=univ&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwj4nPq8h8vNAhWCrRoKHeHEBAMQ7AkIZw&dpr=1#imgrc=9wmv34N2YlS49M%3A
  3. Kev Yes I have built both and when I get a new camera I will post pics. Saving for something decent so may take a week or two. Butterfingers dropped and smashed the last one! Looking for something with soft focus so it can't be compared to yours
  4. I have not posted on this build Kev but I am in awe of your work as always. First thing I do on visiting this forum is to look for MGB 658.
  5. I really love that build. Excellent I take my hat of to you!!!!!!!!!
  6. Swordfish and Skua. Fulmar not embarked until 1940.
  7. Absolutely superb model. If I had a hat I would take it off to you!!!!!!!!!
  8. African Elephants large ears Indian small ears.(probably one of the couple of dozen facts I learned during 11 years of schooling!)
  9. In building my MAS Boat and MTB 77 I have found a new way to affix deadlights and windows to them(due to superglue running and spoiling one necessitating making another with similar material) I run a small brush loaded with Kleer around the edge or the frame and locate the clear part. As a belt and braces job I cover the inside with more Kleer so that it seeps around the edges. If they all fall out in six months I will let you know!
  10. That is a real beauty Bob. I am in awe of all you builds though.
  11. 1 flown 2 cocooned . Broken up in 1967,
  12. Superb build.you can almost feel the cold water of the Atlantic!
  13. Perhaps it was the 27 May 1941? Nice job you have done their I like it very much.
  14. Forgot one thing though the rear over riders are indeed frogeye sprite ones turned upside down, we all had them. Just a bit of trivia for you.
  15. I have had more than one of the real thing, That is about a 1960 MK 2. Got pulled over by the plod a couple of time for tread showing outside the arches. Ran mine on 72 spoke Cobra wire wheels. I transferred them from one to the next. Still got pulled for it though. I like your build and it brings back memories for me! BTW your ticket for dangerous parts is in the post!
  16. I think this was sold as Pine Island. If it is I had it in my teens which woulld make it over 50+ years ago
  17. Glad this build has come to the top again as that is where it belongs! I often look at it and see more in it every time I do.
  18. Great build very well done. ps now you need an Icelandic gunboat trying to cut her nets!
  19. Full side view in this link http://forum.keypublishing.com/showthread.php?137961-RAF-Tornado-Flies-in-%91Desert-Pink%92-to-Mark-25-Years-on-Operations
  20. Dave I like your build a lot and the creepy thing about this is also getting my mojo back. I have in the last week started my MAS boat! It will probably take some time due to my hands as I can work for half an hour and then have to rest for a similar period before starting again.Hull is progressing and some of the smaller sub assemblies.I am humming and harring about the red and white stripes though so I will probably chicken out and do the black sea version! PS I am still fighting with the PE for the nose of the hull to fit properly, any suggestions as to the best adhesive? Paul
