    Hello all ... This is fresh from the P-39 Single type G/Build. I am a confessed Corsair nut, my 2nd favorite WW2 aircraft was the Bell P-39 series. I have built approximately 1 dozen over the years including one other Airacobra Mk.I but that was wearing Russian stars, I lacked the correct decals. I decided to do a british Cobra at this time because i had the decals for 601 Squadron this time. Anyhow I opted to use the H/boss easybuild P-39n in 1/72 as my base, as they're cheap and easy to work with. Without further talk i present to you my Royal Cobra.     Hello Everyone ... Well its official I’m calling this build done. Id like to thank Giorgio first of all for allowing me to jump in with a late entry. Id like to thank everyone that helped me out along the way. This includes Giorgion, & @Troy Smith, @Learstang, and @Procopius for the gift of the kit. Without that it would not be. I knew only the very basics of VVS usage of the Hurricane. However have learned quite a bit. I intend on expanding that knowledge as well. My Hurrican doesn't exactly represent a specific unit or an aircraft. Its more of a general represntation of a Hurricane IIB that has seen its share of hard use and modifications. Modifications i have done are to replace the 8 core .303’s with the four larger calibre russian guns. The corresponding panel lines, and the addition of the six RS-82 rockets and rails. Without further talk i give you my White Hurricane with Red stars. I hope she passes muster folks. If you have questions, comments, or jokes please visit my build thread.     Hello everybody Id like to say this is done. I took the Hobbyboss easy build P-39n and turned it into the RAF’s Airscobra 1. I’d like to thank Trickyrich for the oppurtunity to build this. The Cobra’s are my second favorite WW2 aircraft and i was missing the RAF version in my collection. I hope it meets everyones expectations and without further discussion I present my Airacobra Mk.I. There she is folks again I hope she passes muster. Questions, comments, or jokes please visit the WIP thread. Look for the posting on the aviation RFI soon for more photo’s.     Hello Rob when i do foil work i paint the areas that need it first. Masking so there will be no overspray under the future foil. Then i mask off the paint so as not to get glue on it. When its done they should be even because the dry paint is about as high as the foil. Hope that makes sense ?

    Hello @Robert Stuart ... Quick question if I may ? I am doing the Special Hobby B-18 Bolo for this build. Would it be considered building towards the 25% rule if i were to sand the skin of the airplane down. This is one of the Special hobby kits that have the golf ball/pebbly skin ? I was wanting to prep it so that would be done when i start. Dennis

    It may be real but the finish on it gives me thoughts that the photo is cgi ? The finish doesn't seem right compared to other images I’ve seen.

    Im probably going to do at least two corsairs myself. Im going to replace an old -1C that is long gone. 2nd build will either be a -1A or a -4 in BlackSheep markings. Last option is a -2 nightfighter. Dennis

    I disagree as I've done it and not had that happen. However i digress, 1st as this isn't my thread. Second I'm just offering my opinions and thoughts based on what has worked for me.

    ... For only your 7th build after a 30 year break thats really good work. Not sure which Cellular you have but your photos are pretty good. Only thing i can think of with the photos is a bit more light. Either brighter and indirect lighting with bulbs to reduce the reflection, or possibly outside with sunlight. That being said My Iphone is all i have and they have a decent editing suite for photos.
