  1. It's always great to see an Australian aircraft in the forums - particularly when it's finished to such a high standard.
  2. I agree, you've built a terrific looking Tornado. I was ferreting through the stash last night and I happened to pull out this kit to have a look at it. The detail on it is incredibly fine for 1/72 scale, definitely a standout. You've done a superb job of capturing the look of an operational bird. Well done.
  3. Awesome model! One of my favourite movies as a teenager. I loved that opening text: The hardware, weaponry and surveillance systems depicted in this film are real and in use in the United States today. Apache anyone? Although I can't imagine anyone flying an Apache snooping around the way Murphy and Lymangood did in the Hollywood Hills. The kit certainly looks the business. The interior seems to have much more room than I recall. I thought Lymangood's display was a much larger CRT display positioned directly in front of him. Thanks for sharing it with us, that was a nice trip down memory lane.
  4. I really like it. I'll never grow tired of seeing a well-modelled fully loaded A-7D in SEA camouflage!
  5. I'm no expert on what a MiG-31 cockpit should look like, but what you've presented is certainly very impressive workmanship. Your colour separations and detailing are excellent.
  6. I enjoyed looking at what you have accomplished. It was also a well written summation of the improvements you made to the kit. Very nice work.
  7. A work of art. A real pleasure to look at.
  8. A few people have now mentioned having adverse reactions between thinners and Bandai's plastic. Maybe it's something to avoid. Keep at it, you've had over a thousand page views so you've got some people interested, even though they may not have much to say about your progress.
  9. A beautiful model. Well done. I am very impressed with your work on the cockpit glass, the paintwork, the diorama...pretty much everything really. It may have taken some time to complete and been frustrating at times but it was well worth it.
  10. Little Gene needs some aviator sunglasses and a Tom Cruise smile...but otherwise perfecto!
  11. Giorgio, excellent work. It's been an informative WIP in terms of modelling techniques and operational F-4C Phantoms. Congratulations on reaching 1,000 posts, your build has certainly generated a following. I've become accustomed to looking forward to your post-weekend F-4C update. I'm not sure what will fill the void after this, but Britmodeller's got a lot going on so I'm sure I'll find something. This pretty much wraps up Phantom #2. This effort was significantly more detailed than Phantom #1. I can't imagine how good Phantom #3 will be! Looking forward to it. Thanks for the effort you made to bring us this production, much appreciated.
  12. It was a pleasure to see this one being built. Another terrific addition to the growing collection of great work.
  13. Very good work. Looks like something straight out of the Star Wars universe.
