  1. Excellent work Stephen, and a far more elegant fix to the undercarriage than my way. Bruce
  2. What a tremendous build Stephen. Love your approach to adding the details as well. Too late now, but I know trumpeter released several boxings of the Dakota, did any of them contain the short carburettors ? Good to see the West Wylong Day has been finally restored and that the RAAF took it over from the council. She was looking in very poor shape when I came through there in '22 Regards Bruce
  3. It looks terrific Jon. You have the adding rivets thing down pat now. Quite an interesting progression when you look at your CH46 and 53 with the Archer rivets .
  4. Thanks, yes It’s certainly a decent size, even in 48
  5. Get into it Robin!. It’s a very enjoyable model
  6. Thanks Chris and everyone for the kind comments. Yes, amazing foresight by Bill Bosworth when designing these kits Chris. And in my opinion they still hold up today as accurate, enjoyable to build models.
  7. The AM 1/48 TBF-1c Avenger completed as a Tarpon MkII of 897 NAS RN FAA. What incredibe foresight by Bill Bosworth to include the bulged windows in the kit way back when. Despite them never releasing a FAA boxing For this model, the Observer’s eat came from an Eduard Wildcat. Sutton harness, wheels and Instrument panel from Eduard. Exhaust pipes from Quickboost Paints were Tamiya XF24 for the Grey, MRP Olive Drab and Sky was mixed from tamiya colours to a recipe found on her from Casey Markings were all hand painted from home made masks except serials and stencilling which were kit decals. After looking at these photos, I went back and properly aligned the wheels. So now the flat spots actually site flat on the ground!
  8. Lovely work Peter. Its great to still see you turning out beautiful models like this. Must be quite the collection of ADF aircraft you have now? Bruce
  9. Brilliant work Woody. I love them all
  10. Wow! You’ve done well CC . Love the Vindicator
  11. A great year. I think your P-40s, Beaufort, and armour are my favourite. A shame that Lightning didn’t medal , but it was up against some stiff competition 😉
  12. That’s a brilliant output for the year Duncan, and all too high standard as well
