  1. I've wondered about the SBS sets, also. I was thinking of getting a set for the (hopefully) soon-to-arrive Merit J2F Duck.
  2. Slightly off topic, I guess, but I'm having an enjoyable read of The Royal Navy Lynx: An Operational History by Larry Jeram-Croft. Very detailed overview of the individual ship's flights (ship-by-ship) of the Lynx aircraft deployed to the Falklands. Not really a modeler's resource, but a good read if you're at all interested in the RN Lynx operations, IMO.
  3. Then there's the Mk.V: Just the other day I saw some resin detail bits on eBay for it, resin exhausts was one item, but I'm sure I've seen a more extensive detail set for it, also.
  4. I know I'm a bit late to the party, but, this is my favorite website for all things related to Spanish Aviation (plus lots of other great and classic aviation photos): https://www.aviationcorner.net/search_photos_en.asp I didn't see any without the RADAR, but with 40+ pages of Spanish AV-8Bs, this may be worth a look: https://www.aviationcorner.net/gallery_en.asp?pg=1&fp=1&airline=Spain - Navy&keyword=EAV-8B&search_keyword_cat=0
  5. A little late (by 6+ years!!!) to the party, but I have to say, yours is a beautifully done Yak-28. After years of searching, I finally found one at a price I felt I could justify (under $50 USD with postage, eBay Buy-it-Now) and I ordered it right away. So I've been researching reviews. I've always felt the Brewer was such an exotic looking aircraft and yours came out great, I hope mine looks half as good when I get to it.
  6. Sorry, Dan, I don't get here to Britmodeller very often these days. I've moved my photos to Postimages. Here's the new link: https://postimg.cc/gallery/HW4WTCY
  7. I don't have the kit (I do have the single-seater kit), but I'm curious as to what the issues are.
  8. Semigloss black is good. There are a ton of Spitfire cockpit photos out there that if you do an image search you should find plenty of useful shots. https://duckduckgo.com/?q=spitfire+cockpit+images%2C+-sim+&t=brave&iar=images&iax=images&ia=images
  9. Pick up a 1/48 Airfix PR.19 to serve as a reference?
  10. I took the plunge and ordered mine from Sprue Brothers this morning. I came close to ordering KP's kit a couple of months ago, this one looks to be leaps and bounds better than that one, I'm glad I held off.
  11. I've got one of the 1/48 T.51/53 Provosts coming (arriving today, hopefully), how will I know whether it needs the replacement canopy or not?
  12. I've seen those A-4N cannon pods done in resin. http://quickboost.net/148.htm You'll need to do a search on the page (I used "Skyhawk" as the search term). There's even the extended exhaust fairing in addition to the guns.
  13. I seem to remember photos (airliner.net, maybe?) where they were painted aluminum finish, maybe even with a bright blue undersides? I think these were the cargo carriers. I don't have the time to check right now, but that's what I remember.
  14. I found a good deal on one of these on Lucky Models' site. I think I'm going to go ahead and order one. Even with postage it's like 75% off of prices I've seen on eBay and Amazon (to name a few). Again, yours is a real beauty and I think the final push I needed to put in an order.
  15. I'm a little late to the party, but I want to add that not shown in any of the photos is the combined rear fuselage/vertical fin. This, unlike the vacuformed forward fuselage is a (relatively) large piece of tan/brown resin.
