Best method is. breathable membrane on the inside surface of the outer wall, air gap of at least half an inch, PIR insulation such as Celotex or Kingspan as thick as possible but not at the expense of the air gap, vapour barrier and then whatever you want for the internal finish on top of that. My Mancave only has 40mm PIR in the walls and 70mm roof and is lovely and toasty & cool in summer.Second best if not a lot of wall thickness to play with is multi-layered foil or Superfoil.
