  1. I would remove the plug clean out the threads then refit the plug using Loctite 577 thread sealant. If that fails it looks like a new tank or replacement compressor. The Sparmax oil free ones are good value money mine is 8 years old and still running strong.
  2. Excellent work there as usual!
  3. Try glueing the tailplanes onto the fuselage and ,once thoroughly fixed, drill through the inside fuselage and insert pins I use 1mm brass wire. Never had one fall off as yet!
  4. Really interesting WW2 training films on you tube Scammell Recovery 1 2 and 3. Well worth a look! Recovery 2 covers the tank transporter.
  5. Another vote for the Swann Morton Craft knife with no 2 blade and I use a ceramic tile rather than a block of acrylic. Just make sure you get the metal version not the very prone to snapping orange plastic knife. Code numbers Blade holder 1239 No 2 blade 1242. Scalpels and blades have both in stock.
  6. One of the Roden boxing's had it in 3 colour camo with black underneath. There is one for sale on eBay . Just checked the info says CIA unit Congo 1966!

    decals needed

Light blue numbers and letters available from Pendraken in the size you require. Code is DEC-LL-100. Hope this helps!
  8. I have been running a Sparmax TC620 for seven years now with no problems. Might be a bit over the top with twin pistons so a TC610 would be a cheaper option. Got mine from those fine people at Air-craft.net.
  9. Does it have to be a conversion? There are plenty of the excellent Xtrakit 1/72 T7 kits available.
  10. Unable to post pics at the moment having tech issues with laptop The thinning ratio was 7 paint to 1 thinner/retarder. Just sprayed a Tamiya Beetle bodyshell with no primer looking good.
  11. Update. I have now done some full on spraying and have found some paint build up in my Iwata 0.3 airbrush which has been cured by adding Kaleido retarder/thinner. I have sprayed the matt varnish over a gloss coat and ended up with a super smooth egg shell finish superb!
  12. I have used them straight out of the bottles and the colours dry gloss the metallics over Matt primer have a nice reflective sheen. I have yet to try their Matt and Semi gloss varnishes. The gloss was applied over an existing model to seal the decals in and will definitely replace my dwindling stock of Aqua Gloss. I went for the Pro Master set as it has the primers varnishes thinner retarder cleaner as well as a healthy selection . of paints .
  13. I have tried white black red over primer and bare plastic left overnight then attacked with masking tapes etc they certainly stay stuck impressive. Just had a session with a few of the metallics and impressed with the very fine pigmentation. The gloss varnish was built up in layers and has given a really deep shine I think this will replace my Aqua Gloss which is difficult to come by these days. I have yet to try any of the auto colours but am convinced enough to order up some more colours and primer.
  14. I've bought the auto colours set and have been very impressed with the way they behave spraying through a 0.3 Iwata at around 15psi. Their own cleaner works very well and the grey primer is terrific! I watched all the you tube video reviews before taking the plunge but am glad that I did. According to the colour chart supplied their auto colours are matched to car manufacturers paint ranges . Very pleased with my purchase now what's needed are some aircraft camo paints!
