F4F-3 Wildcat 1 48 Eduard

Recommended Posts

Hi everyone,

This is my last airplane. The Eduard kit is outsanding and it was a trus pleasure to build it.

I wanted to have a well weathered model, something like a well worn Wildcat, during the battle of Coral sea.

I hope you will like it :

Hi Providence,

Impressive build! Very nice weathering, especially underneath.

I really fancy the -3 in their very early camo. I built the old Monogram 1/48 kit with a plethora of aftermarket (including a vac-form windshield and canopy), but lost it to the jaws of an anxious yellow lab over a decade ago. <_<

I've got the Tamiya 1/48 kit somewhere in the stash.

Cheers,

Igna

Your weathering will be an inspiration when I’ll build my 1/72 Airfix Wildcat!

Excellent work! Can you say something about deck? Merci

The deck come from a french company, It s a thin piece a hard paper with the deck of an US aircraft carrier print on the top. I find it quite convincing, and you?

I order it from my favorite french shop :
