Awesome job. How did you achieve the blotchy weathering effect? I really like that. -

Do both kits come with the same sprues as each other? -
I can't help but feel that Airfix is about 10 years too late with this one - that's when people were most interested in this launcher. Now they're more interested in SpaceX's many launch vehicles, or Blue Origin's New Glenn. And, as you've hinted at, I don't think it's beyond the realms of possibility that the Artemis will get canned, especially with Elon Musk being so tight with Trump.

Is this an attempt to get an Airfix T2 release? 🤔

Your next mission, should you choose to accept it, is to purchase a shedload of Revell Phantom FGR.2s!

Very pleased with this! I'll be grabbing at least 3; I can certainly afford it - there was nothing else in today's announcement that interested me, sadly. -
Do we really think they'd go for the FRS.1 with the Kinetic kit still knocking about? It's not perfect, I know, but good enough that plenty will have it in their stash! I wouldn't be surprised to see the Victor K2 re-released - there must be quite a few that missed out the first time and have purchased the other V bombers just in the last year or so. Would certainly make sense, anyway.

That does look good! -
Hopefully we will see some decals for Zumbach and Gentile's Buckeye. Better still a Vb Trop, Vc and Vc Trop, too!

Two more gifts! Today is a good day.

Look what I got from my significant other for my birthday! She's definitely a keeper! They really are fantastic. With any luck Ronny (or someone else) will expand into other areas of RAF and FAA profiles. I already have Chris Sandham-Bailey's books, and they're decent, too.

Hi Dennis. I'm a pricing analyst for the largest general insurer in the UK; so basically I work in a team that uses data analysis and mathematical models to assess/estimate risk, market conditions and many, many other factors when coming up with premiums for customers. From how you have described it in the US it is definitely different here in the UK; here things are kept relatively simple when it comes to the different types of coverage you can have for your car/vehicle, and the police have access (on the road) to a database of all vehicles and whether or not they are insured and taxed. This renders the need for a card or other paperwork pretty much useless here in the UK for all but legit challenges e.g. the database might not be quite up to date for some reason. So I can't really comment on that aspect of it but I can comment on the suggestion they might be trying to save on ink: I just can't see it. We do make assessments about how much certain approaches could cost the company but 1. especially in the last ten years, there has been more emphasis on empathy for the customer and just doing the right thing despite the cost (within reason, of course) and 2. one of the biggest costs to a GI after claims is operations, and I don't think anyone at your insurance company would have predicted anything other than a sharp increase in operations costs as a result of the likes of your good self getting in touch with them! I can't say for sure (as I am not familiar with how legislation, etc, works in the US) but I suspect the decision to supply less information on those cards will be due to some kind of legal issue.

I literally just ordered one of these today (to do the RN North Africa scheme)! Nicely done. Looks great on the base, too. -
Apologies if WWII (pun intended) but the upcoming Va is up on Hannants in the future releases section with info on the schemes included: Spitfire Mk.Va W3185 D-B "Lord Lloyd No.1", Douglas Bader, 616 Squadron, August 1941 Spitfire Mk.Va R7208 FY-G "Liverpool III", DE Fair, 611 Squadron, July 1941 Spitfire Mk.Va R7268 KL-M "The Swan", P/O Page, JW Panter, J Charles, N Orton, Thomas, PMcD Black, C Cookson, 54 Squadron, July 1941 I have to say I'm struggling to get excited; a Vb or Vc, on the other hand...🤩

One thing I love about Eduard: they're rarely stingy when it comes to number of schemes! Will definitely be adding this to the stash.

Constant moaning about an issue/inaccuracy gets tiresome, of course, but I actually appreciate these things being pointed out so that I can make an informed decision on whether or not it is a deal-breaker for me personally. -
Well this is rather nice! Credit: Jamie Ewan
