Was it mass produced or limited to one or a handful of prototypes?

The Breda Ba.88 with its low usefull load.

This was my answer about 2 hours ago, just wanted to make sure.

Where did you get the exact date from? All I could find was just October.

Damnit, just watched Ed Nash's YT video on the Lince as well. Trying to be too clever.

Well, then I guess I'm up.

What aircraft was marketed in the 1940s as " The World's Safest Plane"?

Posted

I'd go for the Erco Aircoupe.

Too easy.

I picked the _ER_coupe because I actually own one. Probably should have went with something more challenging.

Congratulations Wlad, it's your go.

You own one!? How cool. Are the rudders coupled with the ailerons still? It's a cool looking little airplane.

OK, another easy one. Which airplane made the first powered flight in Canada, and which year?

Posted

@Wlad,

Yeah, they're coupled. That was one of the criteria I had when I was looking to buy one. Although I haven't flown it yet. I got it a year ago and still working on the maintenance aspect of it.

To think I'm only 19 and I have a plane and a Corvette! 😅

If they are coupled, how do you handle cross-wind landings?

As for being 19 and having a plane and a Corvette, you are sounding like a spoilt brat 😀.

Nah, not spoiled, both my car and my plane are in need of maintenance, and I'm the one who's going to be fixing it.

I'd look up the answer in the flight booklet, but I don't have it with me. -_- And I don't have any flight experience in it either.

Right, as @tempestfan seems to have gone AWOL, and to keep some life in this thread, I'll ask another.  What air-launched weapon was completely coated with nearly an inch of rubber, and why?

Paging @tempestfan - we're looking forward to your question ...

Apologies, I seem to have slept well! Thanks Sean for keeping the ball in the air!
