Great builds and i really like the hour glass symbol of USS Essex.

Interesting that your choice for the SB2C was the Airfix kit. A well build example is a rare sight today.

Thank you very much, It was the only kit I could get a hold of to be honest. Though it doesn't build up too bad with a bit of care and thought.

There is nothing wrong with building an old kit. I have the re release in my stash and its nice to see how it looks build up.

Two great builds! I am looking for a 1/72 Avenger to keep an Eduard Hellcat company. Are there many options in that scale?

Hasegawa, Academy, Hobby 2000 (Hasegawa re-pop), and sword. It all depends in $£€ and model. The link will give you more answers.

Nice looking group.  I love the concept for the collection.

Im also slowly doing the history of VMF/VMA - 214 Blacksheep. The Polish Air Force from the 1930’s and those of certain pilots. Its a series of long term builds.

Hi Dennis,

isn't it incredibly satisfying when you can look at a family portrait of kits you have built yourself?

these four models look terrific. Congrats!

What's next?
