polybebber
Excellent build and finish, the paint work looks simply beautiful. What do you think of the Airfix kit? Is it worth to replace my aged Academy kits? I have a soft spot for the Hunter, an epic aircraft. Lothar

Lothar The Airfix kit is a great kit better than the Academy kit although not without its own issues the fit of the lower wing parts was a tight fit and my kit the sprue that the wings Are on was badly warped especially the upper wing that was bowed upwards but when glued together with the lower wings all came together nicely other than that a great kit to work on

Kampartiger
Drop dead gorgeous! The Jordanians had the most colourful (Mid-east region) Hawkers Hunters back then in the 1960s and while the Iraqis examples were similarly painted but they of course didn't have the attractive wolf's head squadron creast/badge. Congratulations for creating such a beautiful Hunter,it's really an eye-catcher. Edited August 10, 2019 by Kampartiger
