Spitfire31
Very slick and realistic looking finish makes the model look more fortyeight-ish than Braille scale. Apparently this particular machine had lost its gear doors? Must've done something adverse to the top speed? One confusing (to me) little detail – why the accented, U-shaped black stroke at the back of the rudder balance (photo #11 from top)? It almost looks as if the the rudder was hinged around it, but it's just a reinforcement plate… Anyhow, excellent modelling! Kind regards, Joachim

I forgot to wipe clean that bit. Thanks for the heads up In regards to the gear doors, it was a common practice to remove the gear doors when the aircraft was operating from rough airfields. There is photos showing this aircraft without the doors. Cheers Edited August 6, 2017 by ArmouredSprue Added information
Roman Schilhart
Superb finish! Re-working that propeller blades and the turbocharger intake really paid off. Greets from Vienna, Roman

PlaStix
That really is very impressive - especially in 1/72! Your attention to the details, painting and weathering in this scale is amazing! Very well done. Kind regards, Stix
UKguyInUSA
Super job for this scale, it fools the eye into believing it's a larger scale model. Cheers

TonyTiger66
This is superb, it looks real The paintwork is just spot on. I wish there was the slightest chance I could do one like this It's going to look great on display. This is what 1:72 Bf-109's should look like. Winenut
Hey Paulo! This is amazing. I truly believe this is your best build yet. Superb in any scale. I think it's one of the best Gustav's I've seen and it's very inspiring. If it doesn't win the best build at SAPMA when presented I'll be coming down to set things straight! Just brilliant Cheers Bruce

I'll be there, come by to say hello and bring some of your models if you can. There is a new aircraft being displayed a RAAF Caribou.
