Richard M
The venerable old 1/72 DH Rapide Heller kit, boxed by Airfix, done with a custom paint job and home made decals to represent G-AGTM "Valkyrie" circa 1967, which was one of the planes used by The Parachute Regiments Red Devils display team in the 60's. Alterations include the removal of the door and the empty parachute style interior and the addition of the impellor on the port wing. First time doing rigging so I was pleased how it turned out (I knop it should be double rigged with spacers, but that is beyond me in 1/72!). keefr22
Very nice scheme and a nicely built model to display it on - I like that!! And I never knew the Red Devils had used the old Dragon Rapide - so I've learned something new today! Keef

Miggers
Very, very nice Rich. That venerable old kit is in no way a sow's ear,but can very easily turned into a silk purse. I built one many years ago(still have it in reasonable nick too somewhere)and bought another last year in the Airfix boxing to do in the Fleet Air Arm scheme. The only wish I have for it is that someone would do a vacform glass set ,but I suppose I could do my own. Mark
