thanks for the kind comments, I dont ever recall seeing another model in SAS colours so I thought it would be a good idea to use those decals. I guess alot of people probably find the SAS livery boring but I reckon its spot on, not too over the top. Oh and i guess the plural of airbus would be AIRBII

IRCM (Infra Red Counter Measure) LAIRCM (Large Aircraft Infra Red Countermeasure) or DIRCM which i think is Directional Infra Red Countermeasure, but dont quote me on that one.

i think the turret on the C17 will be some form of countermeasure device.

Good evening everyone, I am currently building a DC10 in the old BCal colours with the bare metal belly and was wondering what you find best for producing a bare metal finish? I have seen some models where foil has been used to create the finish, how would I go about doing this and would decals stick onto it afterwards? Or is the best way to paint it and if so what paint gives the better finish. Thanks in advance, Rob

1/72 scale, got a J and a K (going to be kitted out with special forces HEVS and LAIRCM etc). Actually got a DC10 going at the moment, was wondering if it could be easily converted to a KC10 extender.
