Just had a look at the kit and I would not like to guess on this one. If you are putting a resin cockpit in then you may well get away with it however, there is plenty of room up front for some lead. I know the nose gear leg is a bit flimsy, but I wouldn't take a chance. Chris.

Jesting aside for a second or two - WHY would they cram in so many duplicates - I mean how many people apart from me maybe, are ever likely to model 5 Harriers from from 1 Sqn.? I couldn't agree more!!!!. The old Modeldecal format was the best in my opinion, giving 4 or 5 completely different aircraft on each sheet. It would be great to have these released in 1/48 scale, and I bet there would be far fewer part used sheets left in the decal stash. Chris.

When these kits were released in the 70's, a friend and I immediately bought them as they were the only game in town at the time. He bought the Rareplanes kit and I bought the Formaplane kit because the former was too expensive for me. We both agreed that the Formaplane kit was the better of the two. I've still got it sat in the loft in anyone wants one. Chris.

Have a look at some of the builds posted on our very own BRITMODELLER. Use the build by dswoofie as an aiming point and go for it. Some superb builds here, and a great kit as far as I'm concerned. There are loads of aftermarket items available if you feel the need. Chris.

As a matter of interest, is the Heller kit a re-issue of one of the above kits then? I have not heard this one mentioned yet. Just wondering. Chris.
