tigger replied to tigger's topic in Aircraft Modern
Bump no answers so far! John -
HI Guys I am trying to find if there was ever any profiles/side drawings of the Canadian version of the Hawk Ct-155 published in Scale Aircraft Modelling and if so can anyone point me in the direction of said profiles if they are available on the web?? Or alternatively which volume and issue? Also looking for the same of the RAF MK2 with the red/black yellow fin too. If not then simply the volume and issues number will suffice?? Regards John

1/32 - Tempest Mk.V , Mk.II and Mk.VI - by Special Hobby
tigger replied to 172flogger's topic in The Rumourmonger
I was in Prague last week and when I visited one of the model shops they had a test shot of the wings. I did have a fondle and they are very typical of this company and there was plenty of detail on the parts. The plastic used( remember this was a test shot) was the normal medium dark grey which has a slightly soapy feel to it. Having made numerous kits of this company it will work well. The surface detail was pretty full on with rivets and panel lines which all appear to be ok. Not a lot ,pre I can say at this point but I am certainly looking forward to this release of this model.- 180 replies

Latest model from my workbench it is the 1/32 scale KittyHawk Models P-39 Airocobra built almost from the box with the addition of the HGW seat belts. Kit decals used. Hope you like here as she is hopefully going to be a build article in a future issue of Tamiya Model Magazine.

Centre for Aviation Photography - Events planned for 2016
tigger replied to Latinbear's topic in Aviation Photography
Perhaps it would be a good idea to publish aviation photography events which some of us less wealthy individuals can get to such as the Bruntingthorpe events and alike. John -
I have one of these to do and have been there thinking of getting some aftermarket decals for her. I have the detail up set and have also found a couple more detail sets too. Good luck I will be watching closely. By the way there is a great book on the f1 called driving ambition which is worth getting hold of. John

1/24?

Just my luck I ordered two as soon as I could from the web site as I had checked and saw that fly were not attending the e day show in Prague this weekend. When I wandered around the show on Saturday morning I happened to come across fly models with you guessed it the Wessex kits for sale. Admittedly they were without instructions but I can say from fondling the plastic they look great and I was also told that the instructions will arrive approx October 16th so they will be honouring the orders after that. Regards A very exhausted but happy with what I bought at great prices John

tigger replied to tigger's topic in Ready for Inspection - Aircraft
Hi guys I have no idea how you thought it was hand painted? Anyway I airbrushed and masked each subsequent colour. Only the fuselage and mid upper wing painted the rest is the kit decals. Thank you for the comments though John -
