  1. Turned out nice again
  2. ' Aalmost all of us have built the old 1/76th Airfix kit at one time or another. The real thing is quite tall. I wonder if the got the height wrong Or, as it's not 1/72nd, we all misinterpreted what we saw. The crew figures, I think, seemed nearer to 1/72nd. Maybe that's it? The height of the Airfix soft plastic figures was all over the place. Some notably taller than others. They would be used in our war games. I remember the Grey German troops as being shorter. Against the Quad, The taller Allied figures could possibly make it look lower?

  4. Each to his own of course. But as Disney seems to have given up, For me and plenty of others, it's the tube and Blender or nothing. And the pictures look real enough for me.
  5. Having not watched the Doctor for quite some years I can't comment on recent series of it. But, what I have been watching on the tube is fan films of Star Wars. Made by just one or two people, seemingly at home on Blender? There's the odd fault on some but overall they are very impressive. Pretty much indistinguishable from real people and sets. A current favourite is set after the battle on Hoth at the Rebel base. Why not do something like that for Dr Who? It would certainly be cheaper. Better than the 'cartoon like animations of Star Trek or Star Wars. Given good story lines it could be a winner.
  6. A few years ago I saw a Quad with Limber and gun on the road going in the opposite direction to us. I too was surprised by the size of it. Our Honda CRV was dwarfed by it.
  7. Good luck. We used to rie down the Wessex before first runs to get the tracking correct. You could super glue this to the bench! 😊
  8. Down down deeper'n down?

  12. And She's gorgeous. Another period beauty from the Tomcat Workshop. I'm not too familiar with most pre war Aircraft. But that is an airbrake underneath isn't it? Not common back then I imagine. Ben, it's a lovely design and very well built. Well done Sir. And on the Tube i just watched another lovely design land at Sywell. C-47 Night Fright. Freshly restored and in D Day stripes. What a sight!
