Habu12
I built this about a year and a half ago, but totally forgot I didn't take pics of it. Until tonight. Kinetic, OOB with a few aftermarket decals. Edited April 23, 2017 by Habu12

cngaero
That is a first rate model by any standards. It's beautifully painted and thoughtfully weathered. It's certainly a gorgeous looking jet.
Wez
Magnifique Mirage! Very well done glad you finally got around to taking and posting some pictures. Hope to see more of these beauties in the forthcoming Mirage GB

I built it quite a while ago, so I don't remember there being any. At least that were noteworthy to remember to this day. I've not had many issues with the newer Kinetic kits, if I'm honest. Other than their instruction sheets, they've been nice kits to build.
Dave N
Excellent build. I'm really liking these recent posts of yours Habu, the scooters were great too- super painting and weathering. Cheers, Dave
Pelican
Beautiful Mirage, colors look spot on. You might modify the title as it is not a mirage 2000C but a 2000-5F
Habu12
Told y'all, built it a while ago. You're right, it's a -5F 😝

You might modify the title as it is not a mirage 2000C but a 2000-5F Well, not exactly, the tail fin fits better for Chinese Mirage-5Ei, not -5F... French dash Fives aren't equipped with SAMIR antenna, only LAM... and the jammer and RWR remain the original Sabre and Serval, not ICMS... Mirage 2000-5F : http://ffsmc.fr/upload/2015/01/02/20150102205413-f840c329.jpg Mirage 2000-5Ei: https://www.cybermodeler.com/aircraft/m2000/images/cheng_283.jpg However, the result is great, the colors match well with the so difficult to reproduce French air superiority paint scheme !!! but you forgot the s/n number on the tail fin...
Habu12
Oh I'm sure I don't have it 110% correct, but I remember I had gotten it close enough. I was watching the movie a lot at that time, so... And I believe this is a Dijon jet, not from Orange like in the movie. But anyway, yeah the colors seemed right to me as well. It's actually pretty simple. They're FS36495 light gray and Navy Blue/Gray. TMM enamels, right out of the bottle.
