Which helped a little to offset the horrendous shipping charges to canada, not wonderlands fault. Lets hope for somemore types.. Conqueror, Superb, Revenge... Dads203 Posted June 30, 2010 Author Posted June 30, 2010 One think I have noticed with the Trafalgar kit, Shown on the box art is a side profile and it shows her with a propeller rather than a propulsor, I know only the first of the class was commissioned with a propeller or screw. Looks like another WEM purchase coming up!! I going to build her as HMS Turbulent so the propulsor is needed. I'll post some pix when my kit arrives. Regards Dan

Richard M Posted June 30, 2010 Posted June 30, 2010 The kit can be used to model any of the seven vessels in the class, quoting from Issue 10 of the Airfix Club Magazine build article; "You can build it with or without periscopes, flag poles, front elevators and use either the propeller or turbine.". I have the bronco vanguard, nice kit, and cheap off e bay I did not know there was an astute coming out, maybe interesting. cheers Jerry

Brad-M Posted July 5, 2010 Posted July 5, 2010 It's too bad the modelling companies are missing the detailed acoustic tiles that are so prevalent on our subs today and also past designs as well.
