Longbow
Hi Guys, I hope everyone is doing well, and remaining safe. This is my entry for the Panther GB, and Late Panther G built at the Maschinenfabrik Niedersachsen-Hannover (M.N.H. )plant, between November and December, 1944. These vehicles serve in both the east and west, and were known for their striking camouflage, of broad diagonal stripes. Despite the allies specifically targeting the Tiger and Panther plants, as well as the Maybach Engine works, the MNH Plant was not bombed until the 14th and 28th of March, 1945. Over the course of the war, MNH produced roughly 31% to the total Panther production, for the war. Here are some photo's of Late war MNH Panthers, in Czechoslovakia, Poland, Hungary, and on the Western Front, in Germany and even France. So there we go.... And the kit will be, the RFM Early Late G, which I believe may be a recent production. No interior, No Zimmerit, just pure fun of a simple build and paint. The "Vergin" kit.... Even the plastic bags are unopened.... Waiting on the 10th..... Hope Y'all enjoy..... Lee. 14

Longbow
So this is probably one of the most detailed kits I’ve seen, and if it fits as well as the detail looks it should be a breeze. I’m struggling not to start it
Robert Stuart
'ands orf - leave it until Saturday. I do understand your temptation though, spent an hour or so, before breakfast, just browsing the instructions.
SimonT
You could start it, but then you’ll have to build another in penance

Corsairfoxfouruncle
If anyone has Individual track links in their kits, might be a good Idea to get a headstart on those. From what ive seen they can be a bit of time consumer.

Only 87 per side Dennis, with two pins each (in the kit ), you could do those in a couple of days weeks months by the time the GB finishes 1

Longbow
The main shell of the turret, and the vertical front plate, are cast as a wedge fit. That may need some careful rebate of the mating surface angles to get a good fit on the edges. 1 minute ago, SimonT said: I have the reverse problem, the Tamiya kit is as smooth as a baby’s bottom. Yes. The Tamiya D is the same. I still need to get that painted and finished lol.
