Remember our arrangement Lee, we'll split the winnings of the wager for how many you complete before GB end.

If we say you'll complet say 16, don't tell Ste#e and we'll clean up!

Once I've collected the cash or stash I'll send you your share.....😉

Remember mums the word!

Moving on, great work already,  knew you had a flare for this sort of thing. Turret has cooperated, looks good and no gluey thumb prints,  what's not to like!

I actually Like the Panished finish. I may be in a minority, but there's something about it.

Good work so Far

Gentlemen !!

Thanks for looking in and leaving comments :D

I really like the kit, except for the texture.
Take a look at close up pix and museum Panthers and you’ll see that the rolled armor is extremely smooth and flat.
Tamiya have a good representation with it’s Ausf. D, but the retail and price of the RFM kit blows Big T out of the water.

Would it be possible to cross kit ?

Tamiya shell and RFM detail ?

I don’t know, and price would be bad.

But if someone really wanted to go to town, it may be a good option.

All the best !!

Yup.
I have the DW/Takom A coming tomorrow, so I’ll check it out.
Thinking about a Wiking Panther at Kowel.

I need to go cut some wood !! BRB !!

Whatever you need to do to calm down mate!

Must have bee hitting that plastic pretty hard with kits and figures etc.

Seen some really nice figures that would work with my ausf D, just wishes I could do the price tag justice!

Might regret this but BRB?

This it the fit of the glacis plate to hull shell, after minor clean up.
Excellent engineering.

Again, good to see. There are a lot of good things about this kit (apart from the obvious).
Yes, the component count is high, but, most of them work

The rear access hatch, tow point.
I couldn’t have built this without glasses or optivizor.

The Jack is work of art.
Im thinking of having it thrown on the rear deck, with one of the spare wheels missing it’s tire.

Dragon is already using quite some pieces. But this is making it „interesting“ only to make it different?

Not a 100% what you mean, but I don’t find the texture interesting. Different, but not interesting.

Not even two days in and it looks like a Panther, a nice clean build too!

As for the jack, Meng uses a fair number of parts to create one but this certainly tops that.

I've been staring at those curved extensions, sitting there on the sprue and wondering what on earth they were for?

I love the look of them, and they are on my planned paint job :D

As much as I'm enjoying watching this come together it looks....tricky, fickle..

Whilst tempted by the value for money aspect of the RFM kit I'm not convinced it would be the ausf G for me...

(I really am a lazy modeller btw)🤫😉

The attention to detail on this kit look amazing but I have to agree with the armour plate texture, it’s not quite right in my opinion and needs to be knocked back just a tad :hmmm:  The figures look well tidy and I’m looking forward to seeing them glued to some wood Lee  :frantic:

I am SO with you !! :D

I’m hoping the DW is a little less work.

For some reason I’m reminded of HMS Victory.
