Thanks for looking in and leaving comments I really like the kit, except for the texture. Take a look at close up pix and museum Panthers and you’ll see that the rolled armor is extremely smooth and flat. Tamiya have a good representation with it’s Ausf. D, but the retail and price of the RFM kit blows Big T out of the water. Would it be possible to cross kit ? Tamiya shell and RFM detail ? I don’t know, and price would be bad. As much as I'm enjoying watching this come together it looks....tricky, fickle.. Whilst tempted by the value for money aspect of the RFM kit I'm not convinced it would be the ausf G for me...
