jrlx
Congratulations, Ray! It's a beautiful accomplishment of a really unusual aircraft! Very well done! Looking forward to the final pictures in the Gallery! I also wish you a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Cheers Jaime
bristol boy
Looks excellent, I totally agree with you that building unusual subjects is the best. I am definitely starting an ambitious scratch build next year!
pheonix
Fantastic to see this one in the gallery. This is right up my street - very unusual and until shortly before this GB also unknown to me (I found out about it via a book on early RFC/RNAS aircraft). That is superb rigging and rendition of the wood floats and propellor. Try rolling wire under a flat strip of metal on a flat hard surface - I do so for rigging wires - it works very well. Congratulations on a really good model. This is definitely one on my to do list but I will probably make mine an RFC machine with a land undercarriage.
stevehed
Well done Ray. A toughie without a doubt but definitely worth the effort. Regards, Steve
Brandy
Yes, the prop is backwards. On the 2nd pic above (the one from behind) the engine and prop would be turning anti-clockwise, so the prop is pulling backwards instead of forwards. Nice job though, she looks great! JWM
Very unusual subject, of striking aerodynamic configuration. Excellernt build as well! Regards J-W

JOCKNEY
Outstanding, looks like the earliest version of something the Horton brothers would have come up with. Congratulations
