  1. Mark that must be some stash of 1/144th Tonkas you have there. Should make a great looking line up.
  2. Good to see this back on the go again Neal. Great work on the figure.
  3. Mark, Preiser make 1/144th NATO ground crew and pilots. http://www.gaugemaster.com/search_results.asp?OB=c_a&searchstring=1:144+preiser&andor=View&searchtitle=1:144%20scale+Preiser&style=main&method=kws&strType=arch
  4. Confirm that, these were Stearman's flying at last years Southport show
  5. Mark I have made this as an oob build, it is a great kit and makes a nice little model. Cracking start, look forward to seeing this completed.
  6. Wow 9lbs, hope the undercarriage legs will take it. I wonder if SAC do any white metal replacements for this model. Congratulations to you both he's a cracker.
  7. Great job Brian. I have this kit and you are right it is really nice. Just need to get some extra bits together (mainly weapons) to do mine.
  8. Cracking model Rich and an unusual scheme. Brought back memories of some happy times, I was Senior MPS for 146/RJ Rear Fuselage which was manufactured at the Chadderton site and then shipped to Hatfield - initially and finally Woodford when the Hatfield site was closed.
  9. WOW that's a beauty Andy. Brilliant job, well done.
  10. Great Jag with a superb looking paint job. I should give Revell Acrylics a try but I am put off by having to mix colours, I would be concerned about acheiving the right shade.
  11. Lovely looking 109 and a fantastic paint scheme.
  12. Yet another nicely finished model Bob, sorry but I missed this when you first posted about a month ago.
  13. Brilliant job John. Always liked the 727 in Pan Am colours, although Lufthansa scheme looked good too.
  14. Look forward to seeing you restart this in the autumn Neal. Have a good summer break.
  15. I wouldn't worry about the time it is taking Neal, it is coming along really well and I'm looking forward to seeing the figure painted up. I'm amazed at what you have achieved in such a short amount of time - it takes me much longer to make a model. It should be interesting when I take part in the F18 STGB next year - I will need to get plenty of practice in to try and speed up. Thought that this might interest you Link - I have ordered this for one of my builds which won't be started for a while yet.
  16. Move over Naomi, this is a real Supermodel. Brilliant!!!!
  17. Considering the state of the kit that you started out that is a fantastic result. I saw you start this and the kit looked to be a real Friday afternoon job. Glad you stuck with it - well done.
  18. Cracking Spitfire Chris, really nicely done and just the right amount of weathering.
  19. As I said when this was first mooted, I have had a set of Leading Edge decals for this scheme for a while so this will be my entry RCAF 410 Sqdn 75th Anniversary. I also have a couple of sets of Golden Dragon CAG decals so I may get some practice in before the start. Should be good fun.
  20. Wow that looks really good Danny. The decals appear quite thin - how were they to put on?
  21. Two nice schemes there Charley. This one is mine 410 Sqdn RCAF
  22. Splendid stuff 'Young Donald'. The combined imaginations of Messrs Verne and Wells could not have derived such a contraption.
