CPNGROATS
I'll check my old Airfix magazines to see if I have any of the articles listed... The retro nature of the Alan Hall memorial build certainly is appealing.... Cheers, ggc

AnonymousA667
Could I have a copy of the Jet Provost article please? You certainly can! I have a copy and will get things sorted asap. I'd like to try the Beaufighter II conversion, if I could have a copy of the article please? I'm not sure that I have that one in my personal archive - will need to research. If anybody does have this one please let us know. I should publicly say thank you to John Ratzenberger for kindly offering to forward any relevant articles from his archives, many thanks John! peebeep
jRatz
I have all 3 requested so far and can get them out in next couple days. Please confirm: -- Paul Bradley - Jet Provost, Nov 67 (peebeep, this'll save you postage to the US ) -- Desmojen - Beaufighter II, Nov 68 -- Col. - Hart to Osprey, Jun 70 I understand, but have not tried, that one can send attachments by PM. It might be best for you to PM me your email and I will send that way -- also let me know if you have Adobe Reader - if not, I'll send as page-by-page jpeg's
Paul Bradley
Hi John, Paul already pdf'd a copy of the JP article to me, via PM (So, yes it can be done), but thanks anyway - oh, and big thanks to PB! And in further reply to David earlier, DEFINITELY CFS markings on this - a very smart Red/White scheme with Bue cheatlines. Nice!

jRatz
TO ALL: Paul (peebeep) and I have agreed I will be the 1st stop for Airfix magazine articles. For SAM or those Airfix articles I do not have, we'll figure something out. Turns out that sending attachments via PM is reserved for moderators, so what I send will have to be by email. When you post a request here, I'll PM you informing you of what I have and requesting your email address if I cannot find it in your profile. I've given up offering Adobe PDF files and will send in JPG. I scan at 300dpi, do a cleanup, and reduce to 150 dpi (and they look pretty good so far), so figure about 500k per page - most articles run 4 pages. Make sure your mailbox isn't brimming over. If you request multiple articles, I'll send 'em in separate emails. If a picture doesn't come through well, let me know and I'll extract it from the original scan and send it on. And of course, if I mess it up, let me know and I'll fix it. I do ask you acknowledge receipt so I can sleep better at night ...

AnonymousFO98
CFS, I think. Haven't done much research as yet. Hi Paul FWIW i have a couple of mags with some info on provost markings if that helps. Peebeep don't want to commit myself just yet* until i can be sure i have a chance of cpmpletion- but a Hunter T7 is still a possibilty is there a provisional time frame yet please? (rough estimate will do) *Will wait for the men in white coats to drag me off instead

(rough estimate will do) The cut off for builds to appear in the proposed book will be the 28th June, but to be perfectly honest I have no idea how things stand with this, whether it will go ahead, who will author it etc etc. As the plan is to mount some sort of display at SMW 2009 either on the individual Branch/SIG tables or possibly an individual display I would be quite happy to let the GB run through until November, so there is plenty of time and no excuses for not running a build! peebeep

And thanks for the offer of the JP schemes, but I'm sure I'll be doing the CFS scheme now - it's pretty and different to the later one that I shall be doing in the future with my remaining JP3 kit. AnonymousFO98
was only teasing Paul have sent John my email addy so he can send me the article cheers John! I will be using the Airfix kit - i assume that will be the one in the article. have just come across a Matchbox T7 that i forgot i had, but having seen some of the discussions on BM about the shape i might do a conversion to single seater with that later with an Aeroclub Vacform nose i picked up on ebay.
