Longbow Posted June 9, 2021 Author Share Posted June 9, 2021 For the fuselage markings, I moved to the Hasagawa decals. This was a huge risk due to the age of the transfers. Retired Bob Posted June 9, 2021 Share Posted June 9, 2021 Lee, looking at those last photos I would say that your gloss coat wasn't glossy enough, the decals have a shine but the paint looks matt. I used to use Testors and cannot recall any problems, I thought their matt varnish was very good. Back when I was stationed in Gerrmany I could get a lot of my models and paints from the USAF bases.
