I did a build a while back that used up some spare new Airfix Beaufighter engines and an engineless Frog Beaufighter. Long story, WIP here. I finally got around to taking some better prictures today, and here they are:

Very spiffy job, Adrian! I have a half-finished old Airfix Beaufighter on the work bench just now, and can only hope that it turns out nearly as nice as this conglomerate you've made! :)

Lovely job there Adrian, there is something very tough looking about an overall black Beau!

Perfect result! Are you going to build Beau Mk II perhaps? If you have another engineless Airfix Beau and extra Merlin-egg from Lancaster....

If you do not have Lanc engienes I think I have spare ones (Revell I think), I can give them....

Cheers
